Sarah Ross, PhD is an Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh whose lab combines molecular genetic, electrophysiological and behavioural approaches to investigate the neural circuits of pain and itch. These efforts involve generating genetically modified mice that enable the visualization and manipulation of genetically-defined populations of neurons with the goal of understanding how these cells contribute to nociceptive processing.
