Dr. Chaudakshetrin is formerly director of Multidisciplinary pain clinic at Siriraj hospital, Bangkok, Thailand. She is the founder of International fellowship Training program and Clinical Training Center in Pain Management, Mahidol University, Thailand. She is past president of the Thai Association for the Study of Pain. She has been working to improve access to oral morphine since 1987, establishing multidisciplinary pain services, and develop pain education curricula for students in Southeast Asia. Dr. Chaudakshetrin organized the first IASP Pain Management Camp in Bangkok, Thailand, subsequently, she was recognized with an Honorary Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine by the Australia and New Zealand College of Anesthetists. She serves on numerous IASP task forces, working groups, and committees. In 2012 she was rewarded Honorary member by the IASP in the recognition of her exceptional work in pain management and education in Southeast Asia, as well as her dedication to IASP.
